GPS Renewables, the world’s largest biogas engineering company, has appointed Deepak Agarwal as the Managing Director for ARYA, its project development arm that focuses on developing climate positive projects.
Deepak Agarwal is an industry veteran with over 35 years of experience in Waste Management and Bio-CNG across government and private sectors. A former Central Civil Services Officer, alumnus of IIT Roorkee and the Defense Services Staff College, Wellington, he has held key leadership roles in prominent organizations like A2Z Green Waste Management, IL&FS Environmental, and EverEnviro. Furthermore, Deepak has been nominated as member of various committees constituted by the Government of India at National Level and also serves as Vice-President of the Waste Management Association. He has also played a pivotal role through Policy Advocacy at PMO, Central & various State Governments to create an enabling policy framework to promote Waste Management and Bio-CNG/CBG Sector.
