Polaris Smart Metering (previously known as Gram Power), India’s only domestically grown integrated smart metering solutions provider and energy analytics company, today announced the appointment of Ashish Sharma as its Chief Technology Officer. In his new role, Ashish will lead the technology and engineering vision for the Company and lead the team to achieve technological leadership in the industry.
A seasoned business leader, Ashish comes with over 20 years of expertise in electronics product organisations and brings a proven track record of scaling innovation – from R&D to volume manufacturing – and delivering success in commercial environments. He joins Polaris after having worked with prominent energy sector companies including NXP Semiconductors, Cyber Group Limited, and Secure Meters Limited, among others.

He has completed his Bachelors in Electronics Engineering from the University of Rajasthan.
