Large scale storage still some way off

Consultancy Bridge to India has looked into its crystal ball to predict India will add 10 GW of solar capacity this year and the same next year before deployment slows to 7 GW per year in 2022 and 2023, dogged by hurdles such as an inexplicable ongoing demand for new coal-fired power plants.

Haryana tenders 25 MW farmland solar under PM KUSUM

Applications are invited for setting up cumulative grid-connected capacity of 10 MW for Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and 15 MW for Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam. The solar power generated will be purchased by Discoms at a pre-fixed levelized tariff of Rs 3.11/KWh.

Haryana retenders 57 MW grid-connected solar capacity

Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited has retendered ground-mounted solar capacity of 57 MW with relaxation in eligibility criteria. The projects—to be set up on build, operate and transfer basis—shall come up at three sites in the state and will be awarded through international competitive bidding. Bidding closes on November 25.

Haryana tenders ‘RESCO mode’ solar for government schools

The estimated project cost for 25 years is Rs 1500 crore. Bids can be submitted till October 21, along with Rs 50 lakh as bank guarantee.

BHEL launches 5 solar EV charging stations on Delhi-Chandigarh Highway

Situated in Sirsa district, the group captive solar project is in line with CleanMax Solar’s mission to more than double its customer base from 120 corporates to 300 by 2022.

Haryana tenders 57 MW grid-connected solar capacity

Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited has invited global bids for setting up of an aggregate ground-mounted solar capacity of 57 MW at three sites in the state. Of the total capacity, 30 MW shall come up in Faridabad, and plants of 15 MW and 12 MW at two separate sites in Yamuna Nagar. Bidding closes on July 17.
