In a long-awaited move, farming irrigation systems in Haryana will be powered by solar energy.
Clean energy solution provider ACME Cleantech is planning to expand its current li-ion production capacity of 350 MWh to as much as 3 GWh by 2020. The company has also designed a charging plus swapping station for li-ion batteries to provide clean transport solutions.
The expansion was of the 1 MW rooftop solar plant at the Maharshi Markandeshwar Engineering college in Mullana, Haryana.

The company has further procured 2.8 MW of rooftop solar projects in Uttar Pradesh, which is expected to be commissioned by January 2018.
