Uttarakhand tenders 200 MW grid-connected solar capacity
Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA) has invited bids for setting up cumulative 200 MW grid-connected solar PV power capacity in the state. The projects would be awarded based on tariff-based international competitive bidding.
Uttarakhand tenders 40.84 MW solar project at two dams
The irrigation department of the state of Uttarakhand has invited bids for setting up of 40.84 MW solar PV project at Haripura (27.34 MW) and Tumariya (13.50 MW) dams in district Udham Singh Nagar. The projects are to be built under build-own-operate-transfer model. The deadline for bid submission is February 15. Technical bids will be opened on February 18, while the date for opening of financial bids will intimated in due course.
ABB to install microgrid with energy storage at IIT Roorkee
Setting up of the microgrid with battery energy storage is part of an extended R&D collaboration between ABB and the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee to create platforms for research on smart city technology deployment.
ACME Cleantech plans 2-3 GWh lithium-ion battery manufacturing by 2020
Clean energy solution provider ACME Cleantech is planning to expand its current li-ion production capacity of 350 MWh to as much as 3 GWh by 2020. The company has also designed a charging plus swapping station for li-ion batteries to provide clean transport solutions.
EREN RE and EDF commissions 87 MW solar capacity in India
EDEN, a joint venture between EREN Renewable Energy and EDF Energies Nouvelles, has installed three solar power plants in India amounting to 87 MW. The JV now operates 200 MW capacity in India.
